Affiliate disclosure
How OwnerSec makes money, and how recommendations are written.
OwnerSec may earn a commission if you buy products or services through links on this site. That commission comes from the vendor or their partner programme, usually at no extra cost to you.
Affiliate relationships never change the recommendation. When we suggest a product, we say who it is for and who should skip it. If the better answer is “do not buy this yet”, we say so.
What we do
- Label commercial links clearly where practical
- Prefer tools that a non-technical UK SME can actually adopt
- Note when pricing is indicative and must be checked on the vendor site
What this site is not
- Not affiliated with the UK National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC)
- Not an insurer, broker, or claims handler
- Not legal advice, Cyber Essentials certification, or a penetration test
Product features, prices, and affiliate programmes change. Always verify details with the vendor before you buy. Advertising claims on this site are written to stay within UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) expectations: no absolute security promises.
Tracking links on articles are placeholders until publisher programme IDs are live. They will be replaced with real affiliate URLs without changing the surrounding advice.
